Here is the first in what I plan to be a series of VLOGs on my training for the 2009 Twin Cities Marathon. Sorry its so blah, but oh well. I’ll learn and I’m too lazy to do another one. Plus isn’t doing things in the moment what VLOGing is all about?
Trey, you never bore me. Thanks for including us in your training adventures.
Very fun. Sorry I’m just seeing this now. How do you like the Axiom? I’ve been an Adidas guy for a little while now, but I do like Brooks as a whole. They have really done a good job establishing themselves in the market. There are doctors and specialists who will only recommend Brooks shoes, and I think that’s pretty impressive.
I’ve never run in the Axiom. I did try on the Glycerin 5/6 when they came out, and I liked them both. They were well cushioned and had a good heel-to-toe transition. I’ve also tried on a Brooks road racing shoe, which I can’t think of at the moment. It was definitely built for the longer races. I had a couple of pairs of Brooks Radius in high school, and I also had a really old pair of Brooks spikes. They were bright yellow and red. I wore those shoes into the ground.
